AnOther Magazine's most recent issue deals with obsession. I thought this was an appropriate idea and article for our class since we had been talking about the idea of collecting (which can often verge on obsession). Sylvia Whitman, head of the famous bookstore Shakespeare and Co. in Paris, curated the Document section of the magazine this issue and spoke about the idea of obsession to AnOther. Obviously, what intrigues her are books, and the authors who write them. Books are in a way artifacts/evidence to a different time or place.
