Fashion and Style Section

New York Times,
The article talks about how fashion shows are sponsored by different companies because of the high cost of having a show presented at Fashion Week. This leads to fashion shows displaying not only their design but also the products of the company sponsoring them. An example in the article was fashion designer Richard Nicoll created a collection inspired by tinkerbell. This collection was made because Disney approached Mr Nicoll to collaborate with them, and in turn the show was sponsored by Disney. This shows how even fashion shows are reliant to have sponsors to have their work to be shown. In turn, this also proves the relentless marketing efforts of different companies to be able integrate their products into different industries.
